It has been an incredible year. Thank you so much for following along with my culinary adventures on Instagram, for making my recipes, for reading this newsletter, and for celebrating with me when I launched two new books, Zoë Bakes Cakes and The Best of Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day, and last, but certainly not least, for watching my Magnolia Network show, Zoë Bakes.
I’ve been busy this year, perhaps going a wee bit too fast and furious, which may be how I ended up in an ill-fated, albeit balletic spin on the ice and now have a broken ankle. Not the way I thought this year would go out, but that’s how the cookie (or ankle) crumbles, I’m so grateful for all the care I’ve received and I’m trying to keep my sense of humor intact to help the healing process.
Speaking of my show, I was in the middle of filming season 2 (!), when the aforementioned ankle incident happened (chasing my dog across the snow, not while shooting), but we will resume soon and I CANNOT wait for you to see what I have been baking up! The network launches on cable on Jan. 5, 2022. What is currently DIY Network will become Magnolia Network, so you can see me there!
In case you missed it, I have a brand new workshop on muffins and quick breads and you can access it via the “Magnolia | Time Well Spent” app. Just open the app, find “Create” then click “Workshops” and that’s where you’ll find me!

Oh my.........you have my total sympathy as I fractured my ankle 3 years ago while away and the cast and crutches thing involved boarding a flight etc. It was a winter from hell. Speedy recovery and thank you for your beautiful cakes plus!
Take care of that ankle ❤️
