Celebrating Summer Pie
My favorite fruit pie recipes!

How do you like your summer pie? Key lime is one of my all-time favorite desserts, and it is nice and bright for warm days. It’s on my list of favorite summer pies, along with a few other classics!
You can’t go all summer without a blueberry pie! It’s always best with fresh picked berries, if you can get your hands on them.
My cherry pie recipe features a secret ingredient that gives it a wonderful tart flavor.
Peach pie (with or without candied bacon) is another I try to make every year for a taste of Southern comfort.
It’s always time for banana cream pie! This classic is as good in the heat of summer as it is in the dead of winter 😉.
If you’ve recently made one of my recipes, please remember to leave a rating and review, it helps other people find the recipes!
I need your Pie Baking Requests and Questions!
I am working on my 11th cookbook, all about PIE! I want to know: what is your favorite kind of pie? And do you have any questions about making it? If you don’t make your own crust (yet), let me know why? I want to do for pie baking what my Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day book series did for people who were intimidated by yeast. Ask me anything in the comments! The questions will help me create the Pie Academy for my book! Thank you, Zoë

Lemon Meringue Pie may be the most perfectly balanced dessert of all time. The tart lemon filling is a great match for the sweetness of an ethereal mile-high pile of meringue topping.
These Cinnamon-Brown Sugar Hand Pies are too good. They come together in a snap if you have a stash of pie dough in the freezer (which I always recommend for a pie craving emergency).
My Blood Orange Shaker Pie is absolutely gorgeous and the recipe even includes a gluten-free pudding version!

Would love to see red currant pie(s) included.
One last thing, I am seemingly unable to get a perfectly round disc for my pie crust, will you please address this also? Thank you.
