Let's Bake a Difference!
Join me and Sarah Kieffer in person or virtually to raise money for World Central Kitchen.
Please join @Sarah_Kieffer and myself Nov. 5 from 1-3 p.m. as we bake outrageous Chocolate-Chocolate Chunk Cookies and a seasonal Roasted Pumpkin Basque Cheesecake. We’re going to share our baking tips and raise money for chef Jose Andres’s World Central Kitchen.
From environmental catastrophes to upheaval around the globe, every penny we raise will go to World Central Kitchen who provide meals in response to humanitarian, climate and community crises around the world.
There are three ways to join the class:
1. In-person at the Minneapolis Lynhall restaurant.
2. Connect to the live-stream from anywhere.
3. Join later in a recorded version of the class

Pumpkin Basque-style Cheesecake
This is the recipe I’ll be making for the event! Basque cheesecake with its mahogany-colored top and super-rich custardy interior is one of my all-time favorite desserts. I was inspired by the season to add roasted pumpkin and spices to the cheesecake base and it may not be traditional, but it’s delicious.
