Ireland: Castles, Cottages & Cookery
My love for Ireland started with the butter. Smooth, golden, delicious butter. In 2019 I was invited to visit the farms, dairies, bakeries, and factories that make up the world of Kerrygold butter throughout Ireland. I came away from that trip obsessed with not only the incredible Irish dairy (yes, it is very special in ways you can’t understand until you’ve met the cows that create it), but also the people, land, food, culture and castles. While I was on that magical trip, I envisioned journeying back to this ancient place to explore the culture of food and baking even more deeply with a group of excited and curious travelers. Eight years later, I am seeing my dream come true and I want YOU to come with me.
Together with Pique Travel and my friend, Stephanie March, we’ve set up a week of baking, eating, exploring (bring comfy shoes), high tea, Michelin lunch, falconry (as one does), and even a stay in a 16th century private castle with stories to tell. It will be unlike anything else you’ve experienced before. I hope you will come with us on this dreamy adventure.
