Zoë Bakes Cookies hits bookstores Sept. 3, just two short months until cookie season begins. Be sure to pre-order copies from your favorite bookseller, so they’ll be delivered as quickly as possible. Pre-order sales are not only a great way to get your copy fast, but they also determine the extent of the book tour the publisher will schedule and how media covers the book. I am so excited to come bake with you, so let’s encourage my publisher to set up a nationwide book tour. We’ve already got a few stops in the works and I will have more information about those events soon.

What to Bake This Weekend

• Summer calls for ice cream! Here you’ll find a vanilla custard ice cream base recipe along with 18 more favorite ice cream treats!

• Pudding is another perfect summer dessert. This banana pudding is a quintessential Southern recipe that comes together quickly and without an oven.
