Buttercream 101
Do you have question about buttercream? I have answers! Buttercream is used in so many recipes, but it’s a surprisingly complex ingredient. Making it isn’t necessarily hard, but different recipes call for different styles. I put together a guide on how to make different kinds of buttercream, when to use them, troubleshooting tips and so much more!
Pumpkin Bread
This pumpkin bread is a must for fall. The combination of roasted pumpkin (canned works, but I recommend roasting your own!) and fall spices make it a perfect snack or cozy brunch accompaniment. It’s packed full of favorite fall spices, like cinnamon, clove and nutmeg.
Maple Recipes
Maple is one of those flavors that is synonymous with cool fall weather. Pumpkins and apples get a lot of attention, but it’s another flavor that trends this time of year. I put together a list of my four favorite recipes featuring maple, and it includes one of my all time favorite Christmas cookies!
Most Popular Recipe in October
October calls for this Apple Cider Bundt Cake with Honey Glaze! This popular recipe is simple and delicious, with the perfect amount of sweetness. It’s no surprise that you all turned here to use your fall apples, and this is one of my absolute favorite bundt cakes! If you tried this recipe, please give it a rating/review! It helps others find it.
My pumpkin bass cheesecake was delicious but it’s not as high as the one you show in the picture on the stand. I used the 8 inch pan as you suggested. I would prefer it to be high and mighty like your picture.
I have had great success with the pumpkin Basque cheesecake. I wonder if there’s a modification I could do for Christmas, like with cranberries, or some thing that would make it Christmasy versus the pumpkin. Thank you.
