Crispy, Cheesy Cast Iron Pizza
Pizza is easily my favorite food. There is nothing more satisfying than one straight from the oven with bubbling sauce, a pull of cheese and all your favorite toppings. This crispy, cheesy cast iron pizza with ombre cherry tomatoes is my version of the 2020 Recipe of the Year from King Arthur Baking Company.
Brownies - 4 Ways
These are the brownies I make for my son, Charlie, and his roommates in season 1, episode 6 of Zoë Bakes on Magnolia Network. The recipe is a crowd pleaser because you use a delicious brownie base, then you can customize with up to four different toppings, if you desire!
Vegan Desserts
I get asked a lot about swapping ingredients in my recipes to make them vegan or dairy free or egg free. I am not a vegan and therefore I have not experimented much with vegan desserts or substitutions, but this post has suggestions for experimenting yourself, and also some great resources to check out. I also share a handful of vegan and/or dairy-free desserts to try.
Birthday Desserts
Happy Birthday! If you’re on the hunt for birthday desserts, look no further. I love choosing birthday treats because you can make anything that the birthday celebrant loves. Sure, you’ll find a bunch of cake recipes, since it’s the faithful symbol of birthdays, but you don’t have to stick to cakes.

Ready to upgrade?
Zoe, I just adore your show on Magnolia Network, and have gradually watched the episodes many times~along with my daughter! She recently moved, but was a producer at KARE in Minneapolis for a year, and we watched all your shows when I visited her last summer! We also tried to figure out what neighborhood your glorious home is in, but respected your need for privacy.
: )
You have inspired me with your bread and cake books, which I have. I love making Artisan healthy bread. I'm doing pretty well~better with each batch!
You are an excellent teacher, and your energy and love for what you do is inspiring. I sincerely hope you will be back with a whole new batch of episodes soon. They are a happy place for me, no question about it. Thank you so much for what you share with us all!
I am glad I ran into Zoe Bakes on the Magnolia Network. Great kitchen and great presentations. Thank you
