I’ve been loving the book! We met briefly at your NYC signing. I was very excited to try your alfajores and wanted to let you know that they’re a 10/10! My Latin American husband also loved them. The potato starch is a great addition—I appreciated that when freshly baked the cookie almost shatters in the mouth and while very short and tender they’re less crumbly than their cornstarch counterparts. Thanks for a great book—I can’t wait to continue baking my way through it!!
I made the chocolate hazelnut. Tasted like chocolate chip. Your comment states adding the Nutella made it your husband’s favorite. Nutella is not in the recipe. How much did you add? PS- love the book!!
My family can’t stop raving about the Snickerdoodles! They are the best I’ve ever had! Thank you for sharing! Next in the list are the Basque-style cheesecake berry bars!
It was such a pleasure to meet you at Now Serving in LA! Made the caramelita bars for a tailgate this weekend and we demolished those bars, so yummy! Already got requests to please make sure I make them for our next tailgate! Can't wait to try more recipes and dig in to the cookie academy sections!

Love, love the Soft Molasses Cookies! They are Fall! I froze the balls already rolled in sparking decorator sugar and they baked up beautifully!!🥰
