This is a gorgeous recipe from Amy Thielen’s new book, Company. As the name implies, the recipes are all about hosting, and this ice cream cake combines her three personal temptations (butter cracker crust, lemon custard and meringue), which is why she calls it her nemesis. It’s a stunning and delicious dessert, that allows you to bring out my favorite kitchen tool: a blow torch!
